Gas Grill Ratings

!±8± Gas Grill Ratings

The first thing to think about when your looking for a gas grill is whether you should go with a natural gas or a propane powered grill. Both types of grills have their disadvantages and advantages, in order for you to make the best buying decision you need to familiarise yourself with the key differences in each type of appliance.

One of the major advantages natural gas grills have is running costs, with natural gas being about a third of the price of propane. Another benefit of natural gas is that it burns cleaner than propane.

If you regularly cook out at home it's possible to convert a propane gas grill to propane and get a certified gas fitter to extend your homes gas supply out to your BBQ area.

When it comes to the materials that gas grills are made of there is a wide choice with stainless steel, aluminium, porcelain coated steel, porcelain coated cast iron and plain cast iron. The best material that your grill can be made of is stainless steel.

With stainless steel you eliminate a lot of the maintenance issues and cleaning your grill after use becomes a lot easier. This material is very strong, heats up fast and does not rust.

When it comes to the power of your gas grill you need to think about how it's going to be used. For most situations a grill with a cooking area of 600 square inches and a burning capacity of 10,000 BTU should suit most families.

An ideal gas grill to purchase would be one that is stainless steel, along with a couple of side burners and ignition system built in. Be wary of models that have a few stainless steel parts while the rest of the grill is made of inferior materials such as aluminium and cast iron. You may well find that this type of gas grill may seem a cheap buy but will probably only last you a season or two before falling apart.

One of the more popular brands of gas grills is Weber; it's a big name in America and makes many BBQ accessories as well. Their range of grills are first class, even coming with handy extras such as grill lighting which comes in handy with those late night cook outs. Other quality brands for you to consider are Char-Broil, Ducane and Coleman.

Dress Up in a Smurfette Costume

!±8± Dress Up in a Smurfette Costume

Whether it be for Halloween, a costume party, or just a night out, I have a feeling that this is going to be the year for the Smurfette costume. This is largely due to the Smurfs movie being due to come out very soon, and the Smurf generation is just old enough to be able to dress up like a blue creature whenever they like!

Dressing up in a Smurfette costume is not hard to do. You will need to get all of the materials together. You can buy a kit online, or you can get/make the separate pieces yourself, perhaps saving time, but maybe adding a bit of frustration in the process.

One thing which is important to think about is skin allergies. Most Smurf costumes will need or include blue body or face paint. If you have sensitive skin or allergies, you may want to reconsider. One simple thing you can do, whether or not you have sensitive skin, is get the paint early, and test it on a hidden part of your body. Check it over the next couple hours to see if it itches or breaks out. Wash it off at the end of the day, but keep checking the spot. Remember that whatever it does there, it'll likely do to your face, so this is a good way to be prepared.

Dressing up in a Smurfette costume is both fun and exciting. Let everybody know your love for the blue guys while having a blast in your new outfit! Most important of all-make sure you have lots of fun. Smurfette always did, make her proud!

Do not worry about anyone else who may be dressed up in a Smurfette costume, there was only one real Smurfette and only one of you will be real enough. I am sure it will be you, since you have done your research.
